Throughout her career, Elma has represented excellence in population health, case and disease management, appeals and denials along with workers’ compensation for insurers and third-party administrators. She has assisted in bringing Population Health programs to life including Accountable Care Organizations, Alternative Payment Models, and Value-Based Purchasing programs.
As a professional registered nurse, Elma has leveraged the depth and breadth of her experience to help clients including Level I Trauma Centers improve processes, policy, and best practices, including KPIs to promote revenue cycle excellence and support responsible stewardship of increasingly scarce healthcare resources. Elma is most interested in working in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and healthcare providers to promote excellent patient outcomes through ongoing patient and provider education with continuous quality improvement.
Elma is proud to hold a Bachelor of Nursing Science (BSN) from the Pennsylvania State University. She achieved Case Management Certification (CCM) from the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC) in 2014.
