Throughout Angie’s over a 35-year career, she has been on the frontline leading hospitals and health systems supporting Coding, CDI, and Health Information Management system implementations. 

Angie has experience serving in a variety of revenue cycle leadership roles in hospital and professional coding, business operations, and denial management.  Prior to joining Trilogy in 2021 as Manager of Coding and HIM, Angie worked at a large multi-specialty medical center leading the HIM Professional Coding team and facilitating departmental documentation improvement teams during ICD-10 implementation and beyond.      

Angie is a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences.  She is a member of the American Health Information Management Association and the Mississippi Health Information Management Association. She is an AHIMA-approved ICD-10/PCS Trainer, Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), and Certified Coding Specialist (CCS).  She is a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) through the American Academy of Professional Coders.
