She has a background in Care Management, Transitional Care, Population Health, Cardiac Care, and Infectious Diseases. Brandy has been successful in providing client-centered social and behavioral health services.  Her true passion is working with vulnerable and underserved populations. These achievements include implementing a Transitional Care Program, reducing the length of stay for patients that have End Stage Kidney Disease, and implementing a low-barrier access clinic for individuals with infectious diseases by focusing on behavioral health interventions.  

Brandy has a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Social Work, both from Jackson State University. Her Master’s Program focused on Interventions with children, youth, and families. She obtained her License in Medical Social Work in 2001. She obtained her Certification in Case Management from CMSA in 2013. She is also certified in financial Social Work which is evidenced by her ability to provide cost-effective care while promoting quality outcomes for patient populations.     

Brandy has proven success with aligning passion with program development to focus on various populations.  She consistently places the patient at the center of any initiatives with a deep dive into their Social Determinants of Health.
